Suriname Port Training Institute (SPTI)
A flagship initiative in the partnership between the Suriname Port Management Company (SPMC), Port of Antwerp-Bruges International (POABI), and Antwerp Flanders Port Training Center (APEC) is the establishment of the Suriname Port Training Institute (SPTI). This joint venture aims to deliver world class capacity building programs tailored to the needs of Suriname and the Caricom maritime and logistics sectors. SPTI will serve as a regional center of excellence, fostering knowledge transfer, technical proficiency, and leadership development.
